Summary Note

KANISHKASREE P has successfully completed the Summer Computer Course, gaining a solid foundation in computer literacy and AI awareness. The course covered essential areas such as Fundamentals of Computers, including system functions, hardware, software, memory types, and storage devices. She also learned about Computer Hardware, gaining an understanding of key components such as monitors, keyboards, and peripheral devices, along with their functions and handling. In the Operating Systems module, she learned about basic operating system functions, file management, and user interface navigation. She also gained knowledge of Online Security and Privacy, including the use of antivirus tools, safe browsing practices, and methods for preventing cyber threats. The Internet module introduced her to web browsing, search engines, and internet safety. The course further covered Google Applications, where she learned Gmail management, including composing emails, managing attachments, organizing messages, and maintaining email security. She also gained practical experience in creating, customizing, and sharing Google Forms, as well as working with Google Sheets, including cells, formulas, and real-time collaboration. Additionally, she developed proficiency in Google Docs, including document creation, editing, formatting, exporting, and practical exercises. The curriculum extended to Microsoft Office, beginning with an introduction to the Microsoft Office Suite and detailed modules on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. In Microsoft Word, she learned text editing, formatting, page layout, proofing tools, and practical applications. In Microsoft Excel, she gained skills in data handling, formulas, chart creation, and printing. In Microsoft PowerPoint, she learned to create presentations, apply themes, and incorporate media, transitions, and animations. KANISHKASREE also explored Artificial Intelligence, gaining knowledge of AI tools, emerging trends, and real-world applications. She learned about various AI categories, including content-writing AI, image-generation AI, video-generation AI, audio-enhancement AI, text-to-speech AI, image-editing AI, script-writing AI, and background-removal AI tools. In addition, she developed basic English typing skills, including typing fundamentals, speed and accuracy practice, and paragraph typing exercises. The course concluded with an introduction to the C Programming Language, where she learned basic syntax, data types, operators, conditional statements, looping constructs, arrays, structures, and file handling. The program also included practical coding exercises, tests, and programming practice sessions.
